in the garden of genius boy

he uses
to fix his bike
spoons to abuse zebra spiders
with, make them flip
over a hot cup of tea
yet object to insect torture
by means of magnifiers
while,
a lying promise,
a pre-summer breeze
makes the grass shudder
and skin crawl
